1John 4: 9-10; 17-18
9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

God loves us and the Cross is the proof of His love. How do we expose ourselves to His love?  Listen to messages that will keep you in the mindfulness of God’s love for you. Read Scriptures about His love. Be still and meditate on His love (1 John 4:16). Interact with others who know of His love. Read accounts of His love demonstrated to others. When we do this, we are abiding in His love. To keep thriving and moving forward, keep your eyes on the Cross. You’ll see love perfected. (Note: The Greek word for perfect means complete or blameless before God, because of the finished work Christ accomplished on the Cross).
