Isaiah 41:10
10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
Thriving requires faith in God’s love demonstrated on the Cross by Jesus Christ, in His Word to teach you, and Holy Spirit to help you. Faith is necessary in order for you to believe what the Word says about you in Christ. As your faith grows, fear will set in to contradict what you know and are learning about God and yourself. The fear arises as you face challenging circumstances, trials, tribulations, obstacles, losses, mistakes, your failures, struggles, and uncertainties. To develop your faith and have victory over your fears, Dr. Charles Stanley says you must: Acknowledge the fear. Identify the cause but don’t focus on it. Change your focus to the most powerful weapon available to you….the Word of God. When you focus on the fear or its source, you make it bigger but when you focus on the Word of God you are strengthened and your faith grows. To have victory over fear, you must fight the fear with faith. It’s a FAITH battle!
